Larry Byrd, Director, Division 1 (southeast area including southeast Modesto, Empire, Waterford and Roberts Ferry), was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011. Mr. Byrd retired from MID in 2006 after 35 years of service. He was born and raised on a farm in west Modesto and is a cattle rancher and almond grower in Waterford.

Janice E. Keating, Director, Division 2 (central Modesto), was elected to the MID Board of Directors in 2022. She owns and operates Janice's Bookkeeping & Tax Service. Mrs. Keating also served on the Modesto City Council from 2002 to 2009. During her tenure of public service, she has participated on several local government and community oversight committees.

Robert Frobose, Director, Division 3 (northeast area), was elected to the MID Board of Directors Board in 2022. Mr. Frobose is a fourth-generation Modesto farmer. Today, he and his son run the day-to-day operations of their family farm that includes the land passed down from his grandfather.

John Boer IV, Director, Division 4 (northwest area including Modesto, Salida and Wood Colony area) was elected to the MID Board of Directors in 2022. He is a lifelong resident of Division 4 and is a third-generation Wood Colony family farmer. In addition to farming, Mr. Boer followed in his grandfather's and father's footsteps as a Woodland Avenue volunteer firefighter and currently serves as Assistant Chief.

Nick Blom Director, Division 5 (southwest area), was elected to the MID Board in 2011. He was born and raised in west Modesto and graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in agriculture education. Mr. Blom owns and operates a farm with his brother. He is active in numerous community organizations.
