What you will need:

When registering for MID's Customer Self Service, you will need

  1. Your new 10-digit account number;
  2. The phone number (including area code) that is currently on your account. Enter 10 digit number only without formatting.
Browser Support:
We recommend that you use the Google Chrome internet browser when registering and when using the MID CSS online application.

Register for a new MID Customer Self Service Account

Step 1

Complete the registration form.

You can REGISTER for a new MID Customer Self Service Account by filling in the registration form with the following information:

  • User Name
  • Password
  • Email Address
  • First Name
  • Last Name

Your password must:

  • Be at least 6 characters in length.
  • Contain at least 1 lowercase and 1 uppercase letter.
  • Contain at least 1 number (0–9)

When you have submitted the completed form, you will receive an email confirming that your MID Self Service Account has been created. Click the link in the confirmation email to verify your email address and complete registration.

Step 2

Enroll Your MID Electric Account

After registering, you will need to enroll your MID electric account. To do this,

You will be prompted for your new 10-digit MID Account Number. Enter your MID Account Number and click submit.
